Support Service for People of Different Races

We are committed to helping people of different races register for the Cash Payout Scheme (“the Scheme”) by providing them with the necessary support. Notes of registration and a publicity poster in 8 languages (i.e. Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Nepali, Punjabi, Tagalog, Thai, Urdu and Vietnamese) explaining the details of the Scheme are provided below.

People of different races may call the Cash Payout Scheme hotline 182020 if they have questions about the scheme. Telephone interpretation service in languages of different races could be arranged with the assistance of the Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER). CHEER is sponsored by the Home Affairs Department to provide accessible interpretation and translation services to people of different races.

People of different races may also call CHEER’s telephone interpretation hotlines as set out below and inform the interpreters that they want to contact the Cash Payout Scheme hotline. CHEER will provide necessary assistance.
