In view that the local epidemic situation is still severe, the Government has announced on 5 January 2021 that the special work arrangement for government employees adopted since 2 December 2020 will be extended up to 20 January 2021. During the period, only urgent and essential services will be provided in order to reduce people flow and social contact.
Under this arrangement, the Cash Payout Scheme Secretariat will continue to suspend all counter services until 20 January 2021. The Secretariat will maintain email and telephone enquiry services, and will provide limited interview appointment services from 7 January. The Secretariat will contact the people who have previously made appointments to arrange the meeting dates. We urge for your understanding of the inconvenience caused.
